The associations main objective will be to empower families/households to thrive whilst taking faith based ACTION towards co-ordinated and targeted initiatives that address the causes and consequences of deprivation and poverty in Citrusdal and surrounding farms.

The association look beyond these challenge and envision a community able to ensure best outcomes for all who live and work in Citrusdal. We see a community that makes best use of its available resources where organisations and residents work successfully with one another in a co-ordinated and strategic manner.
The association's secondary objectives will be to:
- Work in partnership with National and International contributors, local residents, local and regional organisations and local government departments.
- Serve as a vehicle for the private business sector to actively engage in sustainable community upliftment and development
- Establish networks to build capacity towards developing and maintaining more formal efforts. Innovate and pioneer new services and programmes, which, could be replicated.
- To develop and provide consistent, coordinated and timely support services to men, women and children who have been victims of violence.
- Identify local household needs and mobilise community resources to meet those needs.
- Promote participation of community members in decision-making of services and programmes.
- Render a counselling service to individuals and families.
- Connecting people with existing services and information whilst improving accessibility to those services.
- To provide consistent, coordinated and timely support services to women and children who have been victims of violence.
- “Provide support to strengthen and capacitate families, especially in relation to parenting responsibilities to decrease the vulnerability of children to abuse, neglect and exploitation”, as stipulated in the “SOUTH AFRICAN INTEGRATED PROGRAMME OF ACTION Addressing Violence Against Women and Children (2013-2018)”,
